Scott Avett created this t-shirt design as a tribute to Western North Carolina and the proceeds from sales will benefit the list of charities below. The back print lists the history of The Avett Brothers’ shows in Western North Carolina.

A collaborative organization with a long history of organizing disaster relief efforts in North Carolina, and currently airdropping supplies into remote mountainous areas. For the initial response to Helene, we are partnering with aviators to move aid into western North Carolina. This includes transport of supplies, and deployment of Emergency Physicians and PAs who are rushing to western NC hospitals to assist their colleagues and care for patients.

Donations of wipes, diapers, and rash cream are needed immediately. The organization is on the ground already and distributes to local families plus partner charities that serve families and babies.
